The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission recently reported more than 30 sawfish deaths after this endangered species exhibited abnormal spinning and whirling behavior. While the sawfish is found in the Keys, one local resident has seen a spinning sawfish by the Boynton Beach Inlet.
