White grubs are the larval or grub stage of several species of weevils and chafers beetles. These larvae are usually C-shaped and are typically cream-colored with a brown head capsule. White grubs can be particularly damaging to lawns and turf grasses and certain other ornamental trees and shrubs in the urban landscape.
