You can add a pop of color with some spray paint, as pictured.
These were made on the Long Beach peninsula in the 1930's and used as a Crab pot bait box, that commercial fisherman would use in dungeons crab fishing.
They have spent much their lives at sea, are all worn to some extent.
There is a metal clip that turns to hold it closed, they display well with twinkle lights inside, shining out the little holes in the sides.
The wooden box is 7"x3.5"x3.5" the metal hangers make them 11" to 12" overall.
I'm sorry but shipping to Hawaii or Alaska will cost more,
We sell these in our shop in Long Beach, Washington, at The Pirates Keep, if you are in town, please stop by. We sell a lot of nautical salvage.
