Welcome to my Junkgle. It gets better here every day! Good spot! You found this pair of old Zebco reels reminiscing in the Junkgle. One is a sharp looking Zebco 20/30 Pro Staff, the other is a .357 Silver Bullet. Both were made in the USA. They have almost all of their components and no real damage. The 20/30 is missing the Anti reverse dogg. The Anti reverse on the .357 does not always engage immediately- it probably just needs some lubrication. Both are in somewhat functional condition but have issues (other) which prevent optimal operation- The spool of the 20/30 binds on the internal spool shaft and thus effectively has a nearly locked down drag. It can be turned by hand. I'm not sure whether the issue is the spool or the shaft- neither have any obvious irregularities. It otherwise is in excellent mechanical/ functional condition and terrific cosmetic condition as well with mild superficial wear and no notable blemishes The .357 is fully functional except it has an issue during casting- the line does not freely cast and can create enough resistance on the spool to engage the drag- (my hunch is that It is just due to the low line amount on the spool, as it can more freely cast off the spool when the spool cap is removed. The cap has a unique 'double guide' within the cap that doesn't allow a lot of clearance above the spool, thus making a more 'frictionous' path for the line. It is otherwise is very good mechanical/ functional condition. It has superficial wear and some small scrapes but no notable blemishes. Thanks for taking a stroll through JustinsJunkgle! This item, like most of the items i have for sale, besides my original creations, came to me as rescues. I do not know their history, but i try to get to know them well before I find them a home.
