Description

EEGNet is a Canada-based network of neuroscience researchers bringing together expertise across more than 10 sites and 5 provinces in an open platform to combine EEG data and analytics for global health applications. This is achieved by leveraging infrastructure, open standards and computational toolkits across the Canadian scientific community and with global partners, to build machine-learning and analysis-ready datasets and workflows. At the core of EEGNet is the development of an open, scalable neuroinformatics hub for the investigation of biomarkers of brain disorders. Built on LORIS, CBRAIN and the Canadian Open Neuroscience Platform (CONP) at the Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital (The Neuro), EEGNet enables Canadian researchers to contribute expertise, data and tools to both national and international research applications in a scalable open collaboration hub. EEGNet is led from the McGill Centre for Integrated Neuroscience (MCIN) in partnership with Laval University's CERVO Institute and Brock University. The project is funded by Brain Canada and the Ludmer Centre, and made possible by generous donation from Vera Gross. Many EEGNet researchers are core participants in CONP as well as the Global Brain Consortium (GBC). Website
