The Daiwa Saltist Inshore Spinning Rods are a versatile series of rods that anglers up and down the coast will find suitable for an enormous variety of species and applications. The Saltist Inshore makes the perfect all around boat rod for anglers who target different species with different techniques throughout their season. Northeast fisherman will find these rods perfect for jigging bucktails for ocean fluke and seabass, while Florida anglers will love them for live lining over reefs for grouper, snapper, jacks, and more. Featuring blanks made with Daiwa's High Volume Fiber (HVF) Technology, these rods are constructed with a low-resin, high modulus carbon graphite material with more fibers per unit area than other rods in its class. This method of construction results in superior strength, lighter weight, and enhanced sensitivity. All models are equipped with Fuji aluminum oxide guides and are fitted with comfortable split-grip EVA handles.

Features:

  • High Modulus carbon graphite blanks with Daiwa exclusive HVF low-resin material
  • EVA Split-Grip Handle

You should always have faith in your fishing equipment. Inshore and offshore anglers know this better than anyone. That's why Daiwa built the Proteus Winn Boat Spinning Rod with a failsafe focus for saltwater specialists. Using HVF Carbon Technology, the blank boasts greater strength while weighing less than rods built using conventional materials. X-45 Carbon Bias technology resists twisting and distortion under heavy loads to maintain a straight bend integrity when casting or steering a fish.
