Located on the side plate, spool lock simply locks the spool from turning so snagged lures can be broken off or pulled free. Ultimate cranking control is available in the new Saltiga with a large Swept Handle bringing the balance point of the handle closer to the centre of the reel and combines with large, super grip EVA knobs for unmatched cranking power, balance and control.
