Wonderful old Orvis minnow trap in very good vintage condition, Minor chips in rim, minimal scratches and wear noted. Wire harness has a few solder repairs where the legs meet the body. (See collage photo). Glass measures just under 13 1/2" X 7 1/2". I believe the aluminum top is original. Raised lettering reads C.F. Orvis Maker Manchester VT. My research found original traps should have a square handle and all feet facing forward. Unsure of age. 1920-1940's or possibly older? Great display piece.
