TimMee Toy Plastic Raft & Boats 3 Olive Green Army Men Ships US Made – Tim Mee Toy

The Tim Mee PATROL BOATS are ready for the waves! This #3100 three piece set is proudly manufactured in the United States. They float in water, measures about 8 inches long, and are approximately 1:24 scale. Made from slightly stiff olive green color HDPE plastic with very little flashing.

This set includes 3 different water craft, each with name molded on the bow. The DOLPHIN is modeled after a rubber boat with a nearly pointed bow and outboard motor. The BARRACUDA is hydrofoil racing boat with a hot-rod onboard motor. The SHARK resembles a Boston Whaler Skimmer with outboard motor and clear windshield. PROCESSED PLASTIC (Tim Mee's parent company) produced these boats for many decades starting around the 1960s. They were usually molded in red, white and blue and offered as bin toys. The Dolphin was sometimes included in a bagged set along with soldiers labeled 'Marine Beach Assault with Dinghy'.  This set includes a special water resistant polypro sticker sheet with the classic Tim Mee stars and serial numbers.

This is very likely the first time these boats have been offered as a set in this color. These are real toys, meant to be played with in the pool or bathtub for many years to come. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
