SOLD WINCHESTER MODEL 6045 BAMBOO FLY ROD, 8'6” - Classic Flyfishing Tackle

WINCHESTER MODEL 6045 BAMBOO FLY ROD, 8’6”   $400 Classic Winchester rod restored by Steve Blake. Rod features full intermediate wraps, NS down-locking NS reel seat, 5” cork grip, floppy ring hook keeper, swelled butt, agate (or agatine) stripper, blued Edwards-style elongated snakes, NS pinned ferrules, one tip with agatine tip-top. Rod weighs 4 ¼ ounces on my scale. Ferrules are 16/64” and 10/64”. Bag and tube are correct, but may be period replacements. Condition is excellent restored with tight ferrules, straight full-length cane sections, superb MOW varnish finish. This is a fine rod in the 5wt-6wt range with excellent casting characteristics.
